I come into the Ogden Family Search Center frequently. You know, what used to be the Ogden Family History Center. Such changes since I started this blog, and such changes trying to get back into it. Such as trying to retrieve a password. Let's hope it works. (Well, I guess it has, here I am.) This center - and the Layton center are much easier to get to as I live and work in this area. When I began this record I was working in Salt Lake City and that Center was key. But one of the many changes is that so much is found online now. What a boon! But oh, how I miss the books! In fact, neither Ogden nor Layton centers have even a phone book any more.
When I last wrote I had introduced the grandchildren of Sven and Ingrid Backman who had come to the United States. I have started a file on each of these ancestors and will reorganize in order to pick up our story in a manner that is meaningful and helpful for your own use in telling your individual part of it.
A big obstacle for me is the loss of connectedness. In fact, this is a VERY big obstacle. You be the judge of how well I overcome it.
A new password in hand, I will be back soon.
